Scratch Events
The first phase is now complete. We provided artists with a forum to test out their ideas at Scratch events which were held every few months at our venues.
We've run four events and have seen many artists and worked with some to help move their ideas along.
Scratch events gave emerging and established artists the opportunity to present and share ideas in front of an audience interested in new work as well as meet other like-minded people interested in making new theatre.
We provided paricipants with feedback, offered developmental support to some - if we saw potential in an idea in relation to our venues. We are still working with a number of artists from this first phase of the programme.
Scratch events were particularly good in finding emerging artists keen to make work.
